We still don’t know what Honda has up its sleeves for the next-gen Brio since official details are still being kept under wraps. We are pretty sure that many adjustments and improvements will be made to make this adorable model even more attractive. The vehicle will keep its short bonnet and grille but a pair of new headlights will be added. The trapezoidal units with rounded angles will look much modern. The side profile will adopt some new curves and lines that will give the vehicle a touch of sportiness. The ground clearance of the vehicle will be slightly increased as well. Due to the changes, the newcomer will be more attractive, more capable, and functional for sure.

When we mentioned that the Honda Brio 2016 will be offered at an affordable price, you immediately thought that the carmaker wouldn’t be way too generous in terms of features and equipment, right? At first, we shared your opinion but when we took a seat behind its steering wheel, we were surprised, in a positive way. There is quite a lot to look forward, though. High-quality materials for the upholstery, cutting edge technology, ample of headroom, legroom, and shoulder-room space are some of the qualities this cheerful hatchback offers. The list of features hasn’t been published, but 7-inch touch-screen display and host of other convenience and safety features will be included.

The 2016 Honda Brio will share its engine with the Jazz and the Amaze. So the lineup comes down to two engine options. The base one is a 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine. Still filed under speculations is power output, but we are expecting it not to be changed. The drivetrain will generate roughly 100 horses and 200 Nm of torque. The second member of the lineup is a 1.2 liter petrol I4 generating 88 horses and 109 Nm of torque. Both engines will be bolted to a five-speed manual gearbox.
